Crispy mushrooms stuffed with cheese

Mushrooms are one of the most used vegetables in the kitchen. They are very healthy since almost everything they contain is water, making it perfect for a diet to control childhood obesity. Since not all children accept vegetables easily, try stuffing the mushrooms.

On our site we offer you, for example, these cheese stuffed mushrooms, which give them a juicy and crunchy touch that your children will surely love.

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of mushrooms more or less the same size
  • 120 grams of cream cheese
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 bunch of chopped parsley
  • Thyme leaves
  • Basil leaves
  • Salt

They are ideal as a starter for Christmas dinner or any party, and the best thing is that you can cook them together!

1. Wash the mushrooms to remove the soil well, cutting off any stems they may have, and dry them with a cloth.

2. Cut the garlic into two halves and boil them in a saucepan with water over low heat for five minutes. When you remove it from the heat, mince the garlic.

3. In a bowl, add the minced garlic, cream cheese, minced herbs and the juice of half a lemon. Beat everything until it forms a very fine paste. Season this pasta with lots of salt and ground black pepper.

4. Fill each of the mushrooms with this paste until it slightly exceeds the edge of the mushroom.

5. Before serving the dish, bake the mushrooms for about ten minutes and then decorate them with parsley leaves.
